Technical Specifications MDS1
The display stand is supplied in a “flat pack” for ease of transport. Assembly requires an allen key & pozi screwdriver – both of which are supplied in the pack along with full colour instructions leaflet.
The MDS1 is designed to be assembled into its two component parts (top & bottom) just once. The assembly process should take approx. 45 minutes following the illustrated instructions leaflet and using the tools included in your purchase.
Once assembled, the Music Display Stand 1 has basically two parts (top & bottom) which easily slot together to achieve full display height, this final stage of construction does not require any tools.
At the end of an exhibition, the two parts can be very quickly separated for easy storage or transportation to another exhibition.
The MDS1 has been specifically designed so that once it has been separated into it’s two parts, it can fit easily inside any standard hatch back or estate car.
The metal framework of the stand is made of 1¼ inch box section and angle aluminium – Grade 6082 T6 (this means it is strong in aluminium terms). The folded clear plastic music shelves are made of 4mm “PET(G)” plastic, which under normal usage is virtually indestructible.

Internal depth of folded plastic music shelf - 1 ¼ inch, but because the plastic has some “give”, may take a slightly thicker publication or multiple publications depending on what sort of display you want to mount. You can stack CDs three deep, or DVDs two deep.
- Overall display length* of each folded plastic music shelf is 955mm (3 foot 2 inches).

* For display purposes, this length is slightly enhanced when you link two or more of the MDS1s together, allowing your display to bridge the small gap between one stand and another.
